Bio
Angela Cameron (b. 1962, Toronto ON) is a contemporary Canadian artist who began her career in the mid 1990’s, creating mixed media photography & digital artwork.
Her visual dedication expands through many years and many photographic disciplines. Early photographic experience included dark room work, hand color fiber based paper and polaroid film techniques.
Photographic abstraction became more refined with a commitment to digital photography in 2005, thus a new idea in creative opportunities emerged. Combining abstract photography with digital effects creates art that is at the forefront digital mixed media today.
Awards achieved include Professional Photographers of Canada Photographic Artist of the Year, Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, International Colour Awards and International Photography Awards to name a few.
