Later, experimenting with different slide and black and white films contributed to achievement of excellence with abstraction in fine art photography.
Photographic abstraction became more refined with a commitment to digital photography in early 2000. Cameron resisted the convenience of computer alteration in order to keep her vision and creative ideas more authentic, as true to this day. Her unique exploration of our surroundings are genuine and thus have a more emotional connection of discovery. Through macro techniques and relentless need to explore the unseen, Cameron’s portfolio of works shows us what is hidden from plain view. Her fascination with close up “scapes” lets us experience plombs of clouds, smudges of color and unexpected sky anomalies that are truly unique.
